Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in a short-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Olympia, Washington. The unit manages cardiac and medical diagnoses, uses EPIC, and averages 27 patients.

• Monitor telemetry and assess cardiac rhythms
• Care for patients with sepsis, chest pain, syncope, and arrhythmias
• Manage cardiac drips, temporary pacemakers, and groin site care
• Assist with sheath pulls and post cardiac procedures
• Administer oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway support, and blood products
• Support isolation precautions, IV therapies, and rapid response care

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of PCU, telemetry, or stepdown experience
• Experience with 4-patient assignments

• ACLS certification
• EPIC charting experience
• Cardiac catheterization, sheath removal, and post procedure care
• ABG interpretation, feeding tube care, tracheostomy care, and wound care
