Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Lebanon, NH

A Travel Progressive Care Registered Nurse will care for complex cardiovascular patients in a hospital progressive care unit on a 12-week contract in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The 16-bed unit serves cardiovascular medicine and cardiothoracic surgery patients and uses a 1:3 ratio with telemetry and advanced hemodynamic monitoring.

• Assess complex cardiovascular patients and respond to changes in condition
• Monitor telemetry, vital signs, and invasive hemodynamic values
• Administer and manage vasoactive and inotropic infusions
• Manage temporary pacing support and chest tube care
• Perform phlebotomy and peripheral IV insertion
• Collaborate with the care team for recovery after cardiovascular procedures

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire
• ACLS certification
• 2 years of progressive care or critical care nursing experience
• Cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery nursing experience
• Continuous bedside monitoring and telemetry skills

• Charge nurse experience
• Precepting experience
