Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Derry, NH

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care in a PCU within an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Derry, New Hampshire. The unit has 20 beds, a 4:1 ratio, cardiac monitoring, Hospira IV pumps, and Expanse charting. Care centers on telemetry patients and close cardiac monitoring.

• Monitor telemetry and recognize dysrhythmias
• Administer and titrate critical drips
• Assess progressive care patients and respond to changes
• Coordinate care for cardiac monitoring and step-down needs
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in Expanse
• Provide pre- and post-cardiac cath and pacer care support

• Active compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• NIH stroke scale competency
• 2 years of hospital experience
• 2 years of PCU experience
• Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills
• Critical drip management experience

• Pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care experience
• Pacer patient care experience
