Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Manchester, NH

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Manchester, New Hampshire. The 10-bed unit uses Sunrise charting and typically sees 3:1 to 4:1 ratios. Telemetry, chest tubes, BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and pacing support are common.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Provide care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgical patients
• Manage chest tubes, drains, and pacing support equipment
• Assist with thoracentesis, pericardialcentesis, and chest tube insertion
• Support oxygen therapy and noninvasive ventilation needs
• Document assessments and interventions in Sunrise

• New Hampshire Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• Telemetry monitoring skills
• Chest tube care experience
• Progressive care nursing skills

• Cardiac drip management, including dobutamine, dopamine, and Levo
• External pacemaker experience
