Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Portsmouth, NH

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for telemetry patients in a hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on a 13-week contract. The unit has 15 beds, a 4:1 ratio, 1-2 LNA support, Meditech Expanse charting, and central monitoring. It is a comprehensive stroke center and level 2 trauma center with a cardiovascular and vascular surgery focus.

• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition
• Titrate vasoactive medications per protocol
• Assist with temporary pacing and rhythm support
• Prepare patients for cardiovascular and vascular surgery
• Support chest tube and arterial line removal
• Complete bedside shift reports and document care

• New Hampshire Registered Nurse license
• ACLS
• BLS
• Strong telemetry skills
• Vasoactive medication titration experience

• Chest tube experience
• Arterial line experience
• Flo-Tracs experience
• Temporary pacing experience
