Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Lafayette, IN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adults in a mixed-acuity hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Lafayette, Indiana.

The unit combines medical-surgical and progressive care, including oncology and stroke patients, with Cerner charting.

• Assess adults with mixed medical-surgical and progressive care needs
• Monitor amiodarone, diltiazem, and insulin infusions
• Support care for stroke, oncology, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and pulmonary patients
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond to changes in patient status
• Assist with non-invasive airway support and oxygen therapy
• Perform IV access, line care, and medication administration
• Prepare patients for cardiac procedures and post-procedure recovery

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 1 year of progressive care, telemetry, or medical-surgical nursing experience
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and IV insulin protocols
• Experience with non-invasive airway support and IV access

• Cerner charting experience
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Central line care and chemotherapy monitoring
• Telemetry or stepdown experience
