Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide stepdown care for adults and geriatrics in Spokane, Washington on a 13-week contract. The 42-bed unit uses Epic charting in a teaching level II trauma hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess adults and geriatrics with cardiac and stepdown needs
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips and monitor telemetry
• Manage patients with chest pain, AFib RVR, post-MI, and post-cardiac cath needs
• Support airway, oxygen, and non-invasive ventilation care
• Perform IV, central line, PICC, and feeding tube care
• Coordinate blood products, wound care, and rapid response support

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of PCU, stepdown, or progressive care experience
• Epic charting experience
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, telemetry, and dysrhythmia skills

• Epidural analgesia, renal transplant, seizure disorder, skin graft, and TURP experience
• Charge experience
• Teaching hospital experience
