Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Idaho Falls, ID

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide bedside care in an acute care hospital progressive care unit on a 13 week contract in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The unit uses Meditech and cares for patients at 4:1 or 5:1 ratios.

• Monitor progressive care patients and respond to changes in condition
• Interpret EKG rhythms and report concerning findings
• Administer medications and titrate cardiac drips per protocol
• Assist with paracentesis and thoracentesis
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in Meditech
• Collaborate with the charge nurse, physicians, and support staff

• Current Idaho Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Critical thinking and EKG interpretation skills

• Prior cardiac medication titration experience
