Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Great Falls, MT

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide direct care for stable and predictably unstable patients in a hospital step-down unit on a 13-week contract in Great Falls, Montana. The role supports medical-surgical patients who need close monitoring, advanced equipment, and timely intervention for changing conditions.

• Assess and monitor progressive care patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, sepsis, renal failure, DVT, and PE
• Provide care for post-op surgical patients and pre- and post-PCI, pacemaker, carotid, and revascularization cases
• Administer and monitor IV medications, cardiac telemetry, and EKG interpretation
• Manage patients with central lines, chest tubes, nasogastric tubes, and continuous bladder irrigation
• Support noninvasive and invasive ventilatory care, including CPAP, BiPAP, and stable ventilator support
• Collaborate with the care team on discharge planning and patient education
• Assist with precepting and clinical leadership for other staff

• Current Montana Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire
• Minimum 3 years experience

• Pediatric experience
• Post-heart catheterization experience
• Post-op vascular surgery experience
• EPNC or TNCC certification
