Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide telemetry and progressive care support in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Denver, Colorado. The 32-bed unit uses Meditech charting and GE telemetry monitoring, with typical ratios of 4:1 to 5:1 and a mix of medical-surgical and post-op CABG patients.

• Monitor telemetry and assess progressive care patients
• Support care for medical-surgical and post-op CABG patients
• Assist with IV starts, Foley starts and chest tube removal
• Collaborate with charge nurse, CNAs and sitters
• Document care and patient responses in Meditech

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse license
• 1-year current acute care hospital telemetry experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Telemetry and progressive care nursing skills

• Experience caring for post-op CABG patients
• Meditech experience
