Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for telemetry and progressive care patients in an acute care hospital unit during a 13-week contract in Denver, Colorado. The 32-bed unit uses Meditech charting and works with 4:1 or 5:1 ratios across telemetry and med surg care.

• Monitor telemetry and progressive care patients for changes in condition
• Assess, document and communicate patient status to the care team
• Administer medications and support ordered treatments
• Assist with IV starts, Foley starts and chest tube removal
• Provide care for post-op CABG patients
• Collaborate with charge nurse, CNAs and sitters to support safe care
• Respond to alarms and escalate concerns promptly

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Minimum 1-year current hospital telemetry experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Progressive care and telemetry clinical skills

• Meditech experience
• Post-operative CABG patient care experience
• Team-oriented, proactive approach
