Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Corvallis, OR

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide direct care for moderately stable acutely ill patients in an acute care hospital in Corvallis, Oregon on a 13-week contract. The unit uses advanced monitoring, assessments and interventions for patients at elevated risk for instability.

• Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond to clinical instability
• Perform focused assessments and reassessments
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Support telemetry and advanced monitoring
• Collaborate with the care team on the plan of care
• Document patient status, interventions and responses
• Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge needs

• Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications
• 1 year Registered Nurse experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Progressive Care Unit experience
• Basic EKG interpretation
