Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Columbia, SC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide bedside care in an acute care hospital in Columbia, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The 24-bed adult unit serves patients with chest pain, arrhythmias, and other cardiac conditions, with telemetry monitoring and Epic charting.

• Monitor telemetry and recognize rhythm changes
• Manage cardiac drips and insulin titration protocols
• Provide care for adults with chest pain, arrhythmias, and post-MI needs
• Assist with pre- and post-cardiac cath and other cardiac procedures
• Maintain IV access, central lines, and blood product support
• Respond to rapid changes and coordinate with the care team

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of cardiac telemetry experience
• Epic EMR experience
• Blood product administration, heparin protocols, and IV insulin protocols
• Cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and drip titration skills

• Level I or II trauma experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Previous charge experience
