Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Columbia, SC

A Travel Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse will care for adult telemetry patients in an acute care hospital in Columbia, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The 14-bed unit serves adults and geriatrics and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and rhythm changes
• Provide stepdown care for adult patients
• Start and maintain IV access
• Manage central lines and heparin protocols
• Administer oxygen and blood products
• Assist with pre and post cardiac cath care

• South Carolina or compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2 years of PCU, DOU, IMC, or stepdown experience
• Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
• IV start and central line care skills

• Travel nursing experience
