Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Clinton, SC

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adult cardiac telemetry patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Clinton, South Carolina. The 20-bed unit serves adults and geriatrics with cardiac and multisystem conditions, including sepsis, MI and unstable angina. First-time travelers are welcome; care includes telemetry and vasoactive, antiarrhythmic, thrombolytic and anticoagulation therapy.

• Monitor cardiac telemetry and non-invasive blood pressure
• Administer vasoactive, antiarrhythmic, thrombolytic and anticoagulation therapies
• Assess adults with multisystem and cardiac conditions
• Assist with defibrillation, cardioversion and thoracentesis
• Manage dysrhythmias and respond to rhythm changes
• Coordinate care with respiratory, laboratory, radiology and pharmacy teams

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS
• 2 years of experience in the field
• 1 year of Epic experience
• Telemetry experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
