Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Chico, CA

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for cardiovascular patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Chico, California. The 30-bed unit uses EPIC, serves young adult through geriatric patients, and manages medium to high acuity cardiac and post-operative cases in a Level 2 trauma setting.

• Assess cardiovascular, surgical and medical patients
• Monitor for rhythm changes and signs of instability
• Administer medications, treatments and nursing interventions
• Support pre-operative and post-operative recovery
• Coordinate care for bypass, carotid and pacemaker patients
• Document assessments and interventions in EPIC
• Collaborate with the care team on plan changes

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of Critical Care experience
• EPIC charting experience
• Successful completion of prior traveler assignments
