Travel Progressive Care Unit RN in Bloomington, IN

A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will care for adults and older adults in an acuity adaptable emergency department boarding unit in Bloomington, Indiana, on a 13-week contract. The unit manages med-surg, stepdown, and ICU-level patients with frequent admissions, discharges, transfers, and Cerner charting.

• Monitor adults with changing acuity and respond to clinical changes
• Manage telemetry, oxygen therapy, IV lines, and blood products
• Administer medications and support cardiac and insulin drip therapy
• Collaborate in team nursing with licensed nursing staff
• Prioritize admissions, discharges, and transfers in a high-turnover unit
• Use rapid response and code team support when needed

• Indiana Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of progressive care or stepdown experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• Ability to care for med-surg and PCU-level patients

• Central line and PICC care
• Port access and management
• Ventilator support and vasoactive drip experience
• PCA and telemetry experience
