A Travel Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse will provide care for neuro-focused patients in a hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Austin, Texas. The unit has 8 beds, a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, and uses Meditech. The team values teamwork and a collaborative culture.

• Provide care for progressive care and neuro patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in condition
• Administer IV medications and continuous drips
• Complete assessments and document patient responses
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Certification within start date
• Progressive Care Unit experience
• IV medication drip administration
• Cardiac monitoring
