Travel PICU RN in Wichita, KS

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care in a pediatric intensive care unit in Wichita, Kansas, on a 13-week contract. The 15-bed unit manages critically ill children with a 2:1 ratio, Level II trauma designation, and Meditech/CPN charting. It is a teaching hospital setting.

• Monitor critically ill children and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications, fluids, and supportive treatments
• Assist with IV starts, blood draws, and bedside procedures
• Collaborate with intensivists and respiratory therapy
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR
• Support families and maintain a safe pediatric intensive care environment

• Current Kansas Registered Nurse license
• 1-year current hospital PICU Registered Nurse experience
• BLS certification
• PALS certification

• CRRT experience
• APHON experience
• Pediatric teaching hospital experience
