Travel PICU RN in South Carolina

A Travel Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse will provide care in a pediatric critical care setting on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. The assignment serves critically ill children with 1:2 to 1:3 ratios and includes ventilator, airway, sedation, and monitoring needs.

• Assess critically ill pediatric patients and respond to changes in condition
• Manage ventilator and noninvasive respiratory support
• Administer and titrate critical care medications as ordered
• Monitor central lines, arterial blood gases, sedation, and neurologic status
• Support chest tube care, isolation precautions, and infection control
• Coordinate care with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response resources
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

• Active South Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license
• BLS and PALS
• 2 years of pediatric ICU experience
• Experience with ventilated patients, central line care, and sedation
• Pediatric dosage calculation skills
• Charting system experience

• ECMO experience
• CRRT experience
