Travel PICU RN in Fayetteville, NC

A Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for infants, children, and adolescents in an acute care hospital PICU on a 13-week contract in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The unit uses Epic and serves a Level III trauma teaching hospital. First-time travelers may be considered.

• Monitor critically ill pediatric patients
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Manage ventilated patients and advanced airway support
• Assist with intubation, lumbar puncture, and other bedside procedures
• Titrate vasopressors and support hemodynamic monitoring
• Interpret rhythms and respond to pediatric changes in condition
• Perform line care, suctioning, tube management, and wound care

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• 2 years of PICU experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Pediatric dosage calculations, dysrhythmia interpretation, and critical care skills

• Port management and phlebotomy
• Ventilator, tracheostomy, and procedural sedation experience
• ABG interpretation, TPN, and insulin pump experience
