Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Lima, OH

A Travel Physical Therapist Assistant will provide rehabilitation care in an acute care hospital unit in Lima, Ohio for a 13-week contract. Age-specific care, timely communication, and support for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy teams are important in this role.

• Administer physical modalities and treatment procedures under the direction of the Physical Therapist
• Carry out the plan of care and assist with age-specific rehabilitation goals
• Support mobility, transfers, and therapeutic exercise activities
• Monitor patient response and report changes to the Physical Therapist
• Document care and maintain accurate clinical records
• Communicate clearly with the care team and participate in coordinated therapy services

• Physical Therapist Assistant license in Ohio
• Basic Life Support certification through AHA
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Clinical skills in patient mobility, therapeutic exercise, and modality support
• Strong communication, listening, and teamwork skills
