Travel Physical Therapist in Richmond, VA

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit has a 36-bed census, a 1:4 ratio, and uses Meditech Magic/Expanse for documentation. Care focuses on neuro, ortho, TBI, and SCI rehabilitation in a stroke-certified setting.

• Evaluate and treat inpatient rehabilitation patients
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans
• Support recovery for neuro, ortho, TBI, and SCI patients
• Apply therapeutic exercise and modalities, including electrical stimulation
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to coordinate care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment

• Virginia Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
• Care Tool training
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
