Travel Physical Therapist in Richmond, VA

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide rehab therapy in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit has 44 beds, a 4:1 ratio, Meditech Expanse charting, and Joint Commission stroke certification.

• Evaluate and treat patients using therapeutic exercise, functional activity, neuromuscular re-ed, and self-care training
• Perform manual therapy to support neuro re-ed goals
• Assist with functional e-stim and other rehab modalities
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in the charting system
• Educate patients and families on mobility, safety, and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with OT, speech, and support staff to coordinate rehab care

• Current Physical Therapist license in Virginia
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• 2 years of hospital setting experience
• Inpatient rehab and stroke evaluation and treatment skills
• Core skills in therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-ed, and functional mobility

• Hospital and inpatient rehab experience
