Travel Physical Therapist in Richmond, VA

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide inpatient rehabilitation care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit uses Meditech Expanse, serves a stroke population, and supports care with a 1:4 ratio and a multidisciplinary therapy team.

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized therapy plans
• Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, functional activity, and neuromuscular re-education
• Deliver self-care training and functional e-stim as indicated
• Collaborate with OT, speech therapy, and support staff on patient goals
• Document care in the electronic record
• Use AIDET communication and service recovery to support patient experience
• Support interdisciplinary discharge planning and patient education

• Virginia Physical Therapist license
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• 2 years of hospital setting experience

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
