Travel Physical Therapist in Independence, MO

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide evaluations and treatments in an acute care hospital setting for a 12-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The role supports acute and inpatient rehab patients and uses Meditech charting. Safe patient handling equipment and standard rehab equipment support care.

• Evaluate patients and develop therapy plans
• Deliver treatment sessions for acute care and rehab patients
• Assist with mobility, transfers, gait training and therapeutic exercise
• Reassess progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Document care in the charting system
• Collaborate with the care team on discharge planning and patient education

• Active Physical Therapist license in Missouri
• Acute care and rehabilitation experience
• Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
• Core patient care, mobility and documentation skills
