Travel Physical Therapist in Hermann, MO

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide outpatient rehabilitation care in a critical access hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Hermann, Missouri. The caseload includes adults and geriatrics with 8 to 10 visits daily and charting in any system. Orthopedic and neurologic cases are common.

• Evaluate outpatient mobility, strength, balance, gait, and range of motion
• Develop treatment plans for orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation needs
• Instruct patients and families in home exercise programs and self-management
• Provide post-operative care for spine and joint conditions
• Document assessments, treatments, and progress in the charting system
• Coordinate therapy goals and discharge planning with the care team

• Missouri Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of outpatient PT experience
• Prior travel experience
• Orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation skills
• Patient education and home exercise program skills
