Travel Physical Therapist in Chelsea, MI

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide mobility, exercise, and discharge-planning care in an acute care hospital physical therapy unit on a 14-week contract in Chelsea, Michigan. Epic is used for charting, and the setting supports inpatient care across a hospital-based clinical team.

• Assess patients' mobility, strength, balance, and functional needs
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training, and transfer training
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians on care goals
• Document evaluations, progress, and discharge recommendations in Epic
• Educate patients and families on recovery and home exercise

• Michigan Physical Therapist license
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• BLS certification
