Travel Physical Therapist in Tawas City, MI

A Travel Physical Therapist will provide outpatient rehabilitation care in an acute care hospital setting on a 13-week contract in Tawas City, Michigan. The role supports evaluation, treatment planning, and patient education in a rehabilitation services unit, with care coordinated with physical therapist assistants and aides.

• Evaluate patient function using formal and informal testing measures
• Develop goal-specific treatment plans based on assessment data and tolerance
• Update the plan of care and coordinate treatment with physician orders
• Set treatment frequency and duration in collaboration with support staff
• Educate patients and families on condition, prognosis, and treatment approach
• Delegate appropriate tasks to physical therapist assistants and aides

• Michigan Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
