Travel PACU RN in South Carolina

A Travel Post Anesthetic Care Registered Nurse will provide recovery care for adults and geriatrics in a hospital in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit averages 30 patients daily, has 12 beds, and uses Epic in a Level I trauma center, teaching facility, and Magnet hospital.

• Monitor post-anesthesia recovery for adult and geriatric patients
• Assess airway, vital signs, pain, and neurologic status
• Support recovery for vascular and cardiac cases
• Administer medications and other PACU interventions as needed
• Document assessments and care in Epic
• Coordinate handoff and discharge readiness with the care team

• South Carolina or multistate Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• 2 years of PACU/Critical Care experience
• Epic charting system experience

• ICU experience
• Cardiac and vascular recovery experience
• Ventilator care, dysrhythmia management, and triage
• Charge nurse experience in a teaching or trauma setting
