Travel PACU RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel PACU Registered Nurse will provide post anesthesia recovery care in a hospital PACU unit on a 13 week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit has 24 bays and uses Meditech for charting. Phase II recovery is part of the workflow.

• Monitor patients emerging from anesthesia
• Assess airway, vital signs, pain, and nausea
• Support immediate post operative recovery care
• Prepare patients for phase II recovery
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams
• Document assessments and interventions in Meditech

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Current ACLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, airway, and monitoring skills
