Travel PACU RN in Fort Worth, TX

A Travel PACU Registered Nurse will provide post-anesthesia recovery care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Fort Worth, Texas. The unit has 26 beds, a 1:2 patient ratio, and uses Meditech charting. It cares for general and specialty surgical patients.

• Monitor patients during post-anesthesia recovery
• Assess airway status, vital signs, pain, and sedation
• Coordinate care with anesthesia and surgical teams
• Administer recovery medications within scope
• Prepare patients for transfer from the unit
• Document care in the charting system
• Support recovery for general, neuro, oncology, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• ICU and PACU clinical skills
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Experience with general, neuro, oncology, orthopedic, or vascular surgical recovery
