Travel PACU RN in Lewisville, TX

A Travel PACU Registered Nurse will provide post anesthetic care in an outpatient surgery unit in Lewisville, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and serves adult, adolescent, and geriatric surgical patients. This role supports day surgery flow in an acute care hospital.

• Prepare patients for surgery and recovery
• Monitor vital signs, pain, airway status and sedation
• Assess adult, adolescent and geriatric surgical patients
• Support outpatient surgery flow and discharge readiness
• Coordinate care with the surgical team
• Document assessments and recovery progress

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certification
• 2+ years of day surgery experience
• Experience with adult, adolescent and geriatric surgical patients and medical-surgical, cardiovascular, oncology, orthopedics, neuroscience and bariatric services

• Meditech experience
