Travel PACU RN in Everett, WA

A Travel Post Anesthetic Care Registered Nurse will provide pre- and post-operative recovery care in an acute care hospital on an 8-week contract in Everett, Washington. The unit serves pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients after same-day and inpatient procedures, follows ASPAN standards, uses Epic, and welcomes first-time travelers.

• Monitor postoperative recovery for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Assess pain, airway status, vital signs, and dysrhythmias
• Administer IV medications, narcotics, and reversal agents
• Support conscious sedation, MAC, and nerve block recovery
• Complete pre-op assessments, medication checks, and discharge teaching
• Start and maintain IV access and review operative records and lab values

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of PACU or pre/post nursing experience
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Experience with dysrhythmia recognition, medication reconciliation, IV starts, and pain management

• Inpatient recovery experience
• Pacemaker insertion and post cath lab experience
• 12-lead EKG/ECG and interventional radiology recovery experience
• Charge nurse and Epic charting experience
