Travel OR RN in Weston, FL

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support perioperative care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Weston, Florida. The unit serves adults and geriatrics in a teaching setting and uses Epic.

• Prepare the operating room for surgical cases
• Assist with robotic, orthopedic, neurological, and general procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control practices
• Support specimen handling, labeling, and wound management
• Perform universal protocol and surgical time out checks
• Document perioperative care and case details in Epic
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and the circulating team

• Florida Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification before start
• 2 years of direct operating room Registered Nurse experience
• Strong robotics, orthopedic, and neurological operating room experience

• Teaching hospital experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Experience with complex robotic and minimally invasive surgical cases
• Experience with specialty cases in vascular, thoracic, and reconstructive surgery
