Travel OR RN in Bradenton, FL

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide perioperative nursing care in an acute care hospital in Bradenton, Florida on a 13-week contract. The unit has 15 operating room suites, a 1:1 assignment pattern, Meditech charting, and Level II trauma center support. The case mix includes orthopedic, trauma, burn, general, urologic, spine, gynecologic, and plastic surgery.

• Prepare the operating room and maintain a sterile field
• Circulate and assist with surgical cases across multiple service lines
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical technologists
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Document care in the electronic medical record
• Respond to changing patient needs in a fast-paced trauma setting

• Active Florida Registered Nurse license
• 1 year trauma operating room experience
• 1 year orthopedic operating room experience

• Burn operating room experience
• Plastic operating room experience
• Meditech experience
