Travel OR RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide perioperative care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit has 11 rooms, sees 30-40 cases daily, uses Cerner, and supports an expanding robotic program and trauma cases. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare operating rooms for robotic, trauma, laparoscopic, and other surgical cases
• Assist the surgical team during procedures and patient positioning
• Maintain sterile technique and support infection control practices
• Handle specimens, blood products, and wound care needs
• Document perioperative care in Cerner
• Respond to safety events, including code and malignant hypothermia situations

• Alaska Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of operating room experience
• Robotic and trauma operating room experience
• Cerner charting experience

• ACLS certification
• Scrub experience with neonatal and OB emergencies
