Travel OR RN in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support surgical cases in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The unit handles 30-40 cases across 11 rooms, uses Cerner charting, and is a Magnet setting with an expanding robotic program and trauma volume. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare operating rooms and maintain sterile technique
• Circulate for robotic, trauma, and other surgical cases
• Assist with equipment setup, safety checks, and case turnover
• Support specimen handling, blood product administration, and wound management
• Monitor patients throughout intraoperative care and coordinate with the surgical team
• Respond to code, fire safety, and malignant hypothermia needs

• Alaska Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• 2 years of operating room experience
• Cerner charting experience
• Operating room experience with robotic and trauma cases

• Scrub, neonatal, and OB emergency experience
