Travel OR RN in Torrance, CA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support surgical care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Torrance, California. The unit handles orthopedic, neuro, spine, plastics, burns, and general cases in a 12-room operating room with a 1:1 assignment ratio. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare the operating room for surgical cases
• Assist the surgical team during general and specialty procedures
• Monitor the patient throughout the intraoperative phase
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control practices
• Support specimen handling and universal protocol checks
• Respond to blood product administration and emergency needs
• Document care and communicate with the circulating team

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Three years of operating room experience
• Experience with orthopedic, neuro, spine, plastics, burns, and general surgery
• Competence in scrubbing and circulating surgical cases

• Ambulatory operating room experience
• Robotic surgery experience
• Pediatric surgical experience
• Complex spine or plastics case experience
