Travel OR RN in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support trauma-focused surgical cases in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The unit cares for adolescents, adults, pediatrics and geriatrics, uses Epic charting, and welcomes first-time travelers. The role centers on complex neuro, vascular, orthopedic and general cases.

• Prepare the operating room for trauma, orthopedic, neuro, vascular and general surgical cases
• Assist as circulator or scrub for intraoperative patient care
• Maintain sterile technique, counts and specimen handling
• Support time-out, fire safety and infection control practices
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia and support teams during procedures
• Document intraoperative care in Epic and respond to emergent cases

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 3 years of operating room experience
• Trauma Level I operating room experience
• Epic charting experience
• Prior travel nursing experience

• Ambulatory operating room experience
• Robotic surgical experience
• Thoracic, gynecologic and urologic surgical experience
