Travel OR RN in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support operating room cases in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The unit handles orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, robotics, general, GU and GYN cases and uses Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Support circulating and scrub functions during surgical cases
• Prepare the room, instruments, and supplies for procedures
• Assist with trauma, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, general, plastic, ENT, GU, and GYN cases
• Maintain sterile technique and follow universal protocol and safety practices
• Coordinate specimens, blood products, and documentation in Epic
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff during procedures

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• 5 years of operating room experience
• Trauma Level I operating room experience
• Epic charting experience
• Prior travel experience

• Ambulatory OR experience
• Robotic surgery experience, including da Vinci Xi
• Cell saver familiarity
• VATS experience
