Travel OR RN in Reston, VA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support operating room care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Reston, Virginia. The unit has 18 rooms, uses Meditech, and handles level 2 trauma with orthopedic, neuro, general, GYN, urology, vascular, and thoracic cases.

• Circulate and scrub for a range of surgical specialties
• Assist with level 2 trauma cases and complex operative procedures
• Prepare patients, instruments, and sterile fields for surgery
• Monitor intraoperative status and coordinate case flow with the team
• Support robotic, orthopedic, spine, and vascular procedures
• Document care in the electronic record

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Level 2 trauma experience
• Operating room experience across orthopedic, neuro, general, GYN, urology, vascular, and thoracic cases
