Travel OR RN in Olympia, WA

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support operating room care in a short term acute care hospital for a 13 week contract in Olympia, Washington. The role uses Epic charting and covers a broad surgical case mix in a general operating room.

• Prepare the operating room for surgical cases
• Assist the surgical team with general, orthopedic, spine, thoracic, and urologic procedures
• Maintain sterile technique, fire safety, laser safety, and radiation safety practices
• Manage specimen handling, blood products, wound care, and universal protocol checks
• Support laparoscopic and open procedures with appropriate instruments and supplies

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS
• 1 year of operating room experience
• Community hospital experience
• Trauma Level II experience

• Pediatric general operating room experience
• Additional case exposure in trauma, ENT, orthopedic, and urologic procedures
• Epic charting system experience
