Travel OR RN in Mckinney, TX

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support surgical cases in a hospital unit during a 13-week contract in McKinney, Texas. The unit has 7 OR suites, uses Meditech, and commonly handles general, trauma, neuro, ortho, spine, robotics, and urology cases.

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures
• Assist with general, trauma, neuro, ortho, spine, robotics, and urology cases
• Maintain sterile technique and support the surgical team
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia, CSTs, and support staff
• Document intraoperative care in Meditech
• Monitor patient safety throughout the surgical case

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of operating room experience
• Neuro and ortho/spine experience

• Trauma center experience
• Ortho experience
