Travel OR RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will support surgical cases in a hospital operating room on a 13 week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner and handles broad service lines, including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastics, urology, burn, and trauma. It is a Magnet-designated Level II trauma center.

• Prepare the operating room and surgical supplies
• Assist surgeons and the perioperative team during procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and safe patient positioning
• Support circulating and scrub functions as assigned
• Monitor instruments, counts, and specimens according to protocol
• Document care in the electronic chart

• Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Skill level 3 or higher in joint, neuro, orthopedics, and vascular procedures
• Broad operating room experience with general, GYN, robotics, plastics, urology, burn, and trauma cases
• Strong sterile technique, teamwork, and perioperative skills
