Travel OR RN in Asheville, NC

A Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse will provide intraoperative nursing care in a hospital operating room on a 13-week contract in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit uses Cerner and reports a 1:1 patient ratio. Surgical experience spans general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn and trauma cases.

• Prepare the operating room for surgical cases
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and safe patient care
• Support care for general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn and trauma cases
• Document intraoperative care in Cerner
• Coordinate patient positioning, equipment, and supplies
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during surgery

• North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Operating room Registered Nurse experience
• Broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines
• Cerner charting experience
