Travel Oncology RN in Tallahassee, FL

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide inpatient oncology care in an acute care hospital on a medical oncology unit during a 13-week contract in Tallahassee, Florida. The unit uses Meditech, supports a 1:6 ratio, and cares for patients on remote telemetry.

• Provide direct care to oncology patients on a medical oncology unit
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the care team
• Administer medications and support treatment plans per orders
• Coordinate care with nurses, providers, and support staff
• Educate patients and families on care needs and discharge instructions
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in the charting system

• Florida Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong bedside assessment and communication skills

• Medical-surgical nursing certification
• Palliative care certification
• ONS certification
