Travel Oncology RN in Tallahassee, FL

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will care for adult oncology patients on a medical oncology unit in Tallahassee, Florida, in a 13-week contract. The unit has 33 beds, 1:6 staffing, Meditech charting, and remote telemetry.

• Assess oncology patients and update care plans
• Administer chemotherapy and other ordered treatments per unit practice
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in condition
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in the chart
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse, physicians, and support staff
• Provide patient education and reinforce oncology care instructions
• Complete regular rounding and safety checks

• Florida Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Oncology nursing and telemetry skills

• Medical-surgical certification
• Palliative care certification
• ONS chemotherapy certification
