Travel Oncology RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide care for adult patients in a hospital oncology unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The 12-bed unit uses Meditech and patient ratios are 1:5 to 1:6. The team cares for oncology and medical-surgical patients and supports chemotherapy treatment.

• Assess oncology and medical-surgical patients and update care plans
• Administer medications and support chemotherapy treatment under unit protocols
• Monitor symptoms, lab trends, and response to treatment
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate daily patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient teaching in Meditech
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Medical-surgical nursing skills
