Travel Oncology RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide care for oncology patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and provides chemotherapy, blood product transfusions, central line care, and mediport access.

• Administer chemotherapy safely
• Monitor oncology and med-surg/tele patients
• Access mediports and PICCs
• Draw labs from central lines
• Provide CHG baths and line care
• Coordinate blood product transfusions
• Document care in Meditech

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 5+ years of Med-Surg/Tele Registered Nurse experience
• Oncology experience
• Experience with mediports, PICCs and central lines

• Chemotherapy certification
• Meditech experience
