Travel Oncology RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Oncology Registered Nurse will provide care for adult oncology patients in a hospital medical oncology unit during a 13-week contract in Dallas, Texas. The unit uses Meditech, Baxter pumps, and supports patients needing blood and electrolyte replacement and sterile dressing changes.

• Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients
• Administer blood and electrolyte replacement therapies
• Perform sterile dressing changes and maintain infection prevention practices
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse and care team
• Document assessments, treatments, and responses in the electronic record

• Active Registered Nurse license in Texas
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Strong sterile dressing change and infection prevention skills
• Solid knowledge of blood and electrolyte replacement protocols

• General medical oncology experience
• Familiarity with ports and central lines
